Born in 1955, Steve lives on the Georgia coast.

Originally a lawyer, Steve has been writing suspense novels since 1990. His books have made the New York Times hardcover and paperback bestseller lists, as well as USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and BookSense bestseller lists.

His book titles include The Amber Room, The Romanov Prophecy, the Third Secret, The Templar Legacy, The Alexandria Link, The Venetian Betrayal, and The Charlemagne Pursuit.

His books have been translated into 42 languages and sold in 43 countries.
